Hotel Ruston Video Series

Independent personal project conducted with Emilie Bahr-Jones in Ruston, Louisiana. The Ruston Hotel is a historical building located in the heart of downtown Ruston but has sat vacant for decades. A team, led by Emilie, seeks to restore the historic hotel into a boutique, 20-room hotel to serve the community of Ruston and provide a unique experience for those visiting the downtown – this is The Hotel Ruston. Goals for this project included a video series including one video on the history of the building and city, the arts community, and the business community – three components that makeup The Hotel Ruston. Numerous other short form content has come from this project for use on social media campaigns.

Redemption Video Series

“Redemption” is a novel published by Leah Naess and written by her late friend, Karen Starkins. This project required recording reader reviews, one-on-one interviews with the publisher, and recording voice overs of excerpts from the novel. All

of this media is edited into a social media campaign for the novel, run by Professional Storytelling and Madi Garcia. In total,

over 50 short form videos have been edited and published for the campaign. I helped create video content to create consistency in language and aesthetics for a specific marketing campaign.
